Opening Times

• Grounds: Open daily 10am to 5pm (4pm British Winter Time) – closed 25th & 26th December 2023
• Hall: Open daily 1st April to 5th November 12pm to 5pm (4pm British Winter Time, last admission 1 hour before closing)
• Hall Christmas Opening – 25th November to 20th December 11am to 4pm (last admission 3pm)

Suitable footwear is recommended for all of the walks and trails. Please follow the countryside code by closing gates behind you and adhering to any instructions or signage. Keep your dog on a lead at all times. Also, be aware of any cattle or grazing animals.

The Stables

Freshly renovated with the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund, The Stables is now worth a visit in its own right. Whether you’rein need of refreshment, looking for a gift or need a dry place for the children to play.

Parklands

A perfect way to hit the open air, the Capability Brown Parkland offers a variety of walks, with lots of things for children and families of all ages to explore along the way.

Archaeology

For the budding archaeologist and historians, Burton Constable is steeped in history which dates back to Medieval times.
