Once the world’s largest woollen mill, Leeds Industrial Museum is housed Inside the Grade II listed Armley Mills.
The vast gallery spaces include displays of original industrial machinery, steam engines, a working spinning mule and replicas of some of the very first film cameras.
The museum is also home to one of the smallest cinemas in the world. The 1920s Palace Picture House seats up to 28 guests and regularly screens archive footage and family favourites during the school holidays. Outside the Colour Garden is filled with flowers used to create traditional dyes.
