Ripley Castle and Gardens, located just three miles from Harrogate in North Yorkshire on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is a historic attraction open to the public all year-round. A visit to the Estate is a captivating and entertaining day out in a picturesque setting.

Grindhus Coffee House is open daily from 9.30am, serving a selection of drinks and snacks, including the ever-popular Brymor Ice Cream. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy a coffee with friends, people watch, or use as a quiet space to work remotely. The Main Entrance to the Castle Gardens and Grounds opens at 10am.
Castle Tearoom is open every day from 10am to 4pm, offering warm and friendly hospitality with indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu includes everything from light bites to satisfying seasonal meals. Breakfast is also available at The Boar’s Head from 8am.
All dishes are prepared using locally sourced ingredients, and there’s a special children’s menu. Afternoon tea can be arranged in the Tearooms on a pre-booking basis.
Dogs are welcome across the Estate.
