Ownership

The Cunliffe-Lister family, proprietors since the 1880s, currently oversee the Estate. Mark and Felicity Cunliffe-Lister, the Earl and Countess of Swinton, assumed stewardship in 2000 and launched the Swinton Park Hotel in 2001 following significant renovations. They took control of the entire estate in 2006.
