The Peace Museum

The Peace Museum explores the history and often-untold stories of peace, peacemakers, social reform and peace movements.

Founded in Bradford in 1994, the collection of 16,000 objects includes banners, personal objects, campaign materials and artworks donated by people and organisations from around the world.

Now housed in the spectacular Grade II listed Salts Mill in Saltaire Village UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s the only accredited museum of its kind in the UK.

Alongside its permanent collection, the museum offers a changing programme of exhibitions, events and activities, so there’s always something new to discover.
