Created from more than one million living, growing maize plants, York Maze is one of Yorkshire’s biggest family days out – and home to the largest maize maze in Europe.
This award-winning countryside attraction near York offers far more than a maze. With over 20 rides, attractions and shows, it is a full day out for families looking for outdoor adventure, active play, laughter and plenty of places to get lost in the best possible way.
Visitors can bounce on the Popcorn Pillow, tackle climbing zones and slides, enjoy family shows, explore themed mazes, or slow things down with sand and water play, crazy golf, remote boats and gentler games.

York Maze places a strong focus on locally sourced, quality produce, with food and drink available inside the attraction.
Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic and eat within the park, although the venue encourages guests to try its own catering, which aims to offer good-quality attraction food at reasonable prices.
Please note that York Maze is a cashless venue. Purchases must be made by debit or credit card.

How to Get There
- York Maze is located on the outskirts of York, just off the A64 ring road.
- Visitors should follow the large green York Maze signs at the entrance.
- The postcode is YO19 5LT, although this covers a range of properties, so visitors should follow the official signs on arrival.
- For drop-offs, vehicles should drive all the way into the car park before passengers get out.
