‘A Taste of Yorkshire’ at The Middleton Railway

'A Taste of Yorkshire' at The Middleton Railway

This summer, The Middleton Railway in Leeds is hosting its very first food and drinks festival, ‘A Taste of Yorkshire’. The event will feature a variety of local companies and their produce, offering a range of hot and cold foods, beers, ciders, and gins. All this will be set against the backdrop of the world’s oldest working railway, with trains running throughout the weekend.

Event Highlights

  • Over 20 traders of hot and cold food, cakes, bakes, sweets, crafts, and more.
  • Local breweries and a real cider bar, gin and cocktails, with over 20 beers and ciders on offer.
  • Live music on both days.
  • Trains running on Saturday evening as well as both days over the weekend. Visitors can also see the railway’s own brewery locomotive.
  • Face painting and children’s activities.
