Now in its fourth year, the Abbeydale Road Beer Festival returns from Thursday 31 July to Sunday 3 August 2025 for four days of friendly rivalry and brilliant beer. Stretching across one unforgettable mile of Sheffield’s most vibrant street, the festival takes over 12 independent venues to host a War of the Roses-themed craft beer showdown between Yorkshire and Lancashire. With 14 of the North’s best breweries involved – seven from each county – it’s an unmissable event for anyone with a taste for great pints, good company and local pride.
This is a free event, but drinks and refreshments must be paid for. No tickets or wristbands are required – simply turn up at any of the participating venues, grab your festival stamp card, and start your trail. Each venue offers at least one exclusive beer, with a variety of street food, music and atmosphere to enjoy along the way.
