The National Videogame Museum is gearing up for a high-speed celebration this May half term with Pit Stop – a family-friendly event that shines a spotlight on racing games and accessible technology.

Running from Saturday 24th May to Sunday 1st June 2025, visitors of all ages are invited to dive into a dynamic line-up of driving games designed with inclusivity in mind. The event features both retro classics and modern fan favourites, offering a unique experience for gamers of all skill levels.

What to Expect

  • Take part in fast-paced matches of Rocket League, where football and racing collide in futuristic arenas.
  • Experience the thrill of Forza using the PlayStation 5’s innovative accessible controller – a first for the Museum.
  • Enjoy multiplayer fun with Mario Kart on the Wii in the dedicated Pit Stop activity space.
  • Try out iconic driving games such as Crazy Taxi and Need for Speed Underground 2, specially introduced for the holiday week.
  • Younger visitors can get creative with hands-on racetrack design activities.
