Brighouse is set to welcome families this April with a range of Easter-themed activities, including a town-wide Easter Egg Trail, free family entertainment, and school holiday fun.
From Saturday 5th to Monday 21st April, 23 local shops and businesses in Brighouse town centre will each display a beautifully decorated porcelain egg in their windows as part of the Easter Egg Trail. Each egg will feature a letter that forms part of a four-word puzzle for visitors to solve.
Participants who correctly unscramble the words and locate the Golden Egg will be able to enter a prize draw for the chance to win one of three Easter Goody Bags, packed with treats from local Brighouse businesses.
The Trail Map, which includes additional puzzles and quizzes for all ages, is available from the following locations:
In addition to the Egg Trail, several free activities will take place during the school holidays to keep families entertained:
Helen Holdsworth, Project Manager at Brighouse BID, commented on the Easter programme:
“We have a cracking two weeks full of Easter fun planned in Brighouse and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone out and about visiting, hunting for the colourful eggs and popping into the shops, cafés and businesses for treats, gifts and essentials.
Hop down to the town, keep your eyes peeled, and enjoy our free activities and entertainment. We hope that families will call down and enjoy what Brighouse has to offer during the Easter break.”
