Cave Castle Hotel and grounds will once again sparkle with festive cheer as the annual Christmas Market returns on Saturday 29 November 2025. From 3pm to 8pm, visitors can enjoy a winter wonderland of independent stalls, seasonal food and drink, and festive fun, all set against the enchanting backdrop of Cave Castle’s illuminated gardens and woodland charm.

Why Visit?

The Christmas Market at Cave Castle combines festive shopping with magical surroundings, making it an unmissable event in the run-up to Christmas. Independent makers and traders will showcase unique gifts, crafts and treats, while food and drink stalls serve up mulled specials and seasonal bites. Add in the twinkling lights and castle backdrop, and it’s the perfect festive day out.

With Santa’s Grotto, family-friendly activities and a festive raffle packed with exciting prizes, there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the evening.

• Santa’s Grotto (3:30pm – 6:30pm, with tea break 4:45pm – 5:30pm)
• Raffle entry included with admission, with prizes such as a spa stay, hotel break, dinner for two and more

Entry

Entry is £2 per person, with under-5s going free. Admission includes one raffle ticket per person, with additional tickets available at £2 each.

Please note: Santa’s Grotto costs £14 per child and includes meeting Santa, making reindeer food and a gift. Please note, Grotto tickets must be booked separately and do not include entry to the market.

Plan Your Visit

Venue: Cave Castle Hotel, Church Hill, South Cave, HU15 2EU. The venue is located just off the A63, with on-site parking available. South Cave is easily accessible from Hull, Beverley and the wider East Yorkshire area. The grounds are lit and accessible, though visitors are advised to dress warmly for outdoor areas.
