Colliderfest returns to Hull in March 2026 with a bold four-day celebration of science, art and creativity, transforming the city centre with hands-on activities, performances and striking light installations.
12th – 15th March 2026 (four-day festival)
The first two days focus on schools, followed by a public weekend programme and evening events.
Museum Quarter, University of Hull – and various locations around the city.
Colliderfest brings science out of the classroom and into the heart of the city, blending discovery, creativity and spectacle. Designed to be inclusive and accessible, the festival invites families, young people and curious adults to explore science through workshops, performances and large-scale installations.
Colliderfest is a free festival, with plans to distribute over 35,000 free tickets for shows, workshops and hands-on activities. Advance registration is required for many sessions.
Events take place across Hull’s Museum Quarter and city centre venues, making it easy to combine Colliderfest activities with museums, cafés and shops nearby. Expect a lively, family-friendly atmosphere during the day, with visually striking installations and performances in the evenings.
