The Egton Bridge Gooseberry Show, the oldest surviving gooseberry show in the country, returns to Egton Manor, Whitby on Tuesday, 5th August 2025. Located in the picturesque North York Moors National Park, this historic event offers a unique celebration of horticulture and community spirit.

About This Event

The Egton Bridge Old Gooseberry Society proudly presents its 224th show, continuing a tradition that began in 1800. Attendees can enjoy an afternoon of music, witness the meticulous judging process, and celebrate with the winners during the evening prize ceremony.
