The Large Model Association’s biggest and most popular public airshow of the year arrives at Elvington Airfield for a full weekend of aviation displays, ground entertainment, and family activities. The event gathers together some of the finest large-scale radio-controlled aircraft in the country, featuring new models and expertly restored classics performing in the expansive local airspace. Alongside the aerial displays, visitors can explore diverse trade stalls, classic vehicle exhibitions, and on-site evening entertainment for weekend campers.

Plan Your Visit

The event takes place at Elvington Airfield near York. On-site facilities include drinking water access, toilets, and Elsan disposal points for those staying overnight. Camping access is permitted from 10:00 AM on Friday 7 August until 10:00 AM on Monday 10 August, with live evening music and catering available late into Friday and Saturday nights. Show tickets provide an added 10% discount on entry to the adjacent York Air Museum.
