Throughout August, Junction 32 will offer visitors a summer of sustainable fun with a variety of free, family-friendly workshops and events. Running every weekend from Saturday 2 August to Sunday 31 August, the events aim to promote creativity and eco-conscious living alongside the centre’s popular beach experience.

Hosted between 10am and 5pm each weekend, the programme includes hands-on activities suitable for all ages, designed to encourage sustainable practices in an engaging and accessible way. The schedule is as follows:

• Saturday 2 – Sunday 3 August: Jazzification and Confidence Workshops – Festival-ready fun with eco glitter and temporary tattoos.
• Saturday 9 – Sunday 10 August: Terrarium Workshops – Create a miniature indoor garden to take home.
• Saturday 16 – Sunday 17 August: Build a Bug Hotel – Support local biodiversity by crafting an insect-friendly habitat.
• Saturday 23 – Sunday 24 August: Sustainable Fashion Workshop – Learn to upcycle an old T-shirt into a reusable bag.
• Saturday 30 – Sunday 31 August: Sustainable Trinket Making – Craft decorative shell bowls using decoupage techniques.

These activities form part of Junction 32’s wider commitment to delivering enriching, environmentally-conscious experiences for its visitors. The workshops are designed to inspire eco-awareness and creativity, complementing the centre’s retail and leisure offerings.
