Set against the elegant backdrop of Newby Hall in North Yorkshire, the Firework Champions event returns for another year of dazzling displays and family-friendly entertainment. This spectacular evening features three of the UK’s top firework companies competing in choreographed shows set to music, culminating in a breathtaking finale. Attendees can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with food stalls, a full bar, and entertainment for all ages. Bring along friends, family, and a picnic to experience a magical night of colour, light, and sound in the historic gardens of Newby Hall.

Entry

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Booking in advance is recommended to secure the best rates:

Adults (17+): £30 online; £35 on the gate
Children (5–16): £20 online; £25 on the gate
Under 5s: Free

Additional options include gazebo permits (£25) and camping passes (£10 per adult). Tickets are non-refundable and valid only for the event date.

By Car: Newby Hall is located just off the B6265 between Ripon and Boroughbridge, a few miles from the A1(M). From the north or south, use Junction 48 and follow the brown tourist signs to the entrance gates in the village of Skelton-on-Ure. For sat-nav users, please use postcode HG4 5AE. Parking is free, but all occupants of the vehicle must have valid tickets.
By Public Transport: The nearest train station is in Ripon, followed by a short taxi ride to the venue. Bus services are limited, so please plan your journey accordingly.

Accessibility

The event site is on flat grassland, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs in dry conditions. Accessible toilets are available on-site. Dedicated parking for Blue Badge holders is provided close to the entrance.
