On Wednesday 27 August 2025, children aged 3–13 are invited to take part in a free, hands-on outdoor workshop on Penistone Hill. Led by Within the Wood Forest School and Brontë Parsonage Museum, the session invites young imaginations to run wild as they build willow dens for fairies and mythical creatures, inspired by Monira Al Qadiri’s artistic installation.
This special workshop forms part of the Wild Wednesdays programme – a series of creative and nature-focused activities for families taking place throughout the school holidays in partnership with the Brontë Parsonage Museum. Come along and enjoy a magical outdoor experience surrounded by the beauty of the moorland landscape.
This is a free drop-in event with no tickets required. Open to children aged 3–13. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the workshop.
