Bolling Hall Museum invites young visitors and families to a fun-filled day of historical mischief on Wednesday 20 August 2025. Gruesome Medicine and the Cheeky Boggart explores the weird and wonderful world of Tudor remedies, complete with hands-on activities and a cheeky museum mystery to solve.

Children will learn about the strange ways people treated illness in the past and get the chance to make their own Tudor-style plague remedy. Meanwhile, the mischievous Boggart is up to no good—hiding modern medicine around the museum and causing confusion! Can your little detectives find the misplaced items and uncover the clues to track him down?
