Visitors are encouraged to use public transport as parking is very limited in Heptonstall. Regular buses run from Hebden Bridge, and visitors can walk up to Heptonstall via the Buttress, a steep cobbled pathway. (Note: The walk is demanding, so plan accordingly.)
