Millennium Square is set to host the vibrant Leeds Ska & Mod Festival on Sunday, 4 August 2024, as a highlight of its Summer Series. This year’s festival will feature a dynamic array of live performances under the open sky.

Line-Up Highlights

  • King Hammond & The Rude Boy Mafia: Making their debut at the festival, this group, led by Grammy-winner Nick Welsh, promises to electrify the audience with their energetic beats and evocative lyrics.
  • Stranger Cole: A legendary figure in the ska genre, Cole brings a rich musical history dating back to 1962, including classic hits like “Rough and Tough.”
  • The Chords: This mod punk band, synonymous with the 70s mod revival, returns to Millennium Square with their timeless tracks.
  • The Hotknives: Following their successful performance last year, this English Ska band returns to deliver fan-favourites like “Holsten Boys.”

Event Details

Additional artists will be announced in the coming year, further enriching the festival’s line-up.

  • Ticket Sales: Tickets are available from 15 December at 10 am, priced at £38.50 (including booking fees).
  • Venue Information: Gates open at 2 pm, with performances starting at 2.30 pm. The event will feature licensed bars, catering, and adequate facilities.
