About the Exhibition

Adventures in the Electroverse is a unique fusion of audio-visual art, harnessing the power of 3D sound technology and captivating visuals to transport visitors into an immersive experience. Having already dazzled audiences at the World Trade Center in New York, this exhibition is now set to inspire European audiences. Taking place at The Gallery on the top floor of The Piece Hall, the event will run from October 4 to November 3, daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Martyn Ware: A Sheffield Icon

Martyn Ware, born in Sheffield, is a pivotal figure in the world of electronic music. As a founding member of the iconic synth-pop band The Human League, and later forming the chart-topping group Heaven 17, Martyn has continuously pushed the boundaries of music and technology. His notable hits include ‘Temptation’ and ‘Let Me Go.’

A New Era of Immersive Art

This exhibition is a physical and aural extension of Martyn’s popular podcast series Electronically Yours, which features in-depth conversations with some of the most influential figures across music, art, and entertainment. Visitors can explore soundscapes crafted from podcast content, brought to life through Monitor Audio’s SoundFrame speakers. These speakers not only provide high-quality audio but are also integrated with portraits of Martyn’s interviewees, further connecting art with sound.
