The Merchant Adventurers’ Charity Beer Festival returns to York on Friday, 4 July, and Saturday, 5 July 2025. Hosted within the historic 668-year-old Merchant Adventurers’ Hall, the festival features over 30 breweries showcasing more than 70 ales, beers, and lagers. Attendees can enjoy live music, street food, and a unique atmosphere, all in support of the Merchant Adventurers’ Charitable Trust.

Event Highlights

Beer Selection: Over 70 ales, beers, and lagers from more than 30 breweries, including headline sponsors Brew York and Elvington Brewery.
Venue Features: The Great Hall transformed into a Keg Beer Hall; the atmospheric Undercroft housing a 50-foot Cask Bar.
Live Entertainment: Performances from local artists on the YO1 Radio stage in the garden.
Street Food: Offerings from Yuzu and El Chappo.
Charitable Cause: Proceeds support the Merchant Adventurers’ Charitable Trust, funding education projects for local children.

General Admission: £15.00 per session
Over 18s Only: Attendees must be 18 years or older.
Assistance Dogs Only: Due to the historic nature of the venue, only assistance dogs are permitted.
