The Norland Scarecrow Festival returns, inviting visitors to explore the charming village of Norland adorned with creative scarecrows crafted by local residents and businesses. This annual event supports village initiatives and local charities, offering a delightful experience for families and individuals alike.

Exhibition Highlights

• Scarecrow Trail: Wander through Norland to discover approximately 80 uniquely designed scarecrows, each reflecting the 2025 theme: “Scarecrows beginning with ‘S'”.
• Live Music & Entertainment: Enjoy performances from local musicians and entertainers, adding a festive atmosphere to the village streets.
• Food & Refreshments: Indulge in a variety of culinary delights available at the Scarecrow Café located in the school, Norland Working Men’s Club, and various local pubs. An ice cream van will also be stationed in the village centre.

Plan Your Visit

• Parking: Free parking is available next to the Scarecrow Tent on the playing fields in the centre of Norland. Please use postcode HX6 3RL for navigation. Visitors are kindly requested not to park on village roads to prevent congestion and respect residents’ access.
• Trail Navigation: Trail sheets, guiding visitors through the scarecrow displays, can be purchased for £2 at the Scarecrow Tent or in the church. Proceeds contribute to local charities. While the trail is best enjoyed on foot or by bicycle, a designated section is accessible by car as indicated on the trail sheet.
