On the North Yorkshire Moors Railway’s (NYMR) Christmas Pullman Service offerings, guests can indulge in the holiday spirit with a variety of exclusive experiences, including the Christmas Pullman and Christmas Afternoon Tea.

Service Details

All services are scheduled to be steam-hauled, adding a nostalgic touch to the festive experience. Trains will depart from Grosmont Station (YO22 5QE) and journey to Pickering Station before returning, with a total experience time of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Step aboard the heritage carriages of the Christmas Pullman and indulge in a luxurious three-course Christmas feast. This unique service promises an unforgettable journey through the picturesque Yorkshire countryside, enhanced by a menu designed to showcase the finest seasonal flavours.

• Upon arrival, diners will be welcomed with a glass of mulled wine and fresh bread.
• Starters: Choose from chef’s homemade vegetable & lentil soup, smoked salmon & prawn salad, or garlic mushrooms.
• Main Course: Options include traditional roast turkey, daube of beef, or chef’s homemade vegetable bake.
• Desserts: Enjoy traditional Christmas pudding, poached pear pavlova, or a selection of cheese and biscuits.
• To finish, freshly brewed tea and coffee will be served with mince pies.

Private Coupes with Drinks Package

For a more intimate experience, the Private Coupes with Drinks Package offers a private dining experience within your own compartment, seating up to four people. This exclusive package includes:

• A bottle of house wine (Red/White/Rosé)
• A bottle of still or sparkling water

The price per person for the Christmas Pullman is £99, and the Four Person Private Coupe with Drinks Package is £425.
