Northern Lights Leeds Returns to Temple Newsam for 2025

Following a dazzling debut year that welcomed over 100,000 visitors, Northern Lights Leeds is set to return to Temple Newsam from 21st November to 31st December 2025.

Set within the historic Grade I-listed gardens of Temple Newsam, this year’s festive trail promises a completely reimagined experience featuring more than fifteen illuminated zones and bespoke musical compositions. With its fully paved one-mile route, Northern Lights Leeds offers a unique and accessible winter experience for all ages.

What to Expect in 2025

• Brand new light installations and audio-visual displays
• The Leeds debut of the spectacular ‘Lily Of The Lake’ installation
• A returning Christmas Village offering a range of artisanal food and drink
• Vintage fairground rides and festive treats including mulled wine, hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows

This year, visitors can also look forward to several key enhancements to improve the overall experience:

• Improved booking amendment system
• Reduced capacity during peak hours
• Additional neuro-inclusive sensory sessions with reduced capacity and lower audio
• Upgraded customer service provision
• Significantly enhanced parking facilities

Tickets and Pre-Sale Information

General ticket sales open at 10am on 5th June 2025. Visitors can sign up now for pre-sale access, which includes:

• A limited-time 20% early bird discount
• Entry into a prize draw to win a family ticket

Northern Lights Leeds is produced by award-winning events company From The Fields, known for major UK events such as Kendal Calling, Bluedot, and Christmas at Bute Park.
