Get ready to put on your Lederhosen and fill your steins as Huddersfield gets into the Bavarian spirit for one night only! OktoberFeast arrives on Friday 17th October 2025, transforming Huddersfield’s Historic Open Market into a lively night of German-themed food, beer and music. Organised by Huddersfield BID in collaboration with Kirklees Markets, this is a celebration not to be missed.

This vibrant evening brings a Bavarian twist to Yorkshire, complete with Bratwurst stalls, freshly pulled pints, and a live performance from Flat Cap Brass Band – delivering oompah music with a local flair. It’s a great way to experience the festive fun of Oktoberfest without leaving town, all in the unique setting of Huddersfield’s historic market hall.
Over 18s: £11.55 (includes £1.46 booking fee and a free branded stein)
Under 18s: £8.30 (includes £1.24 booking fee and a free branded cup)
OktoberFeast takes place at Huddersfield Open Market on Brook Street (HD1 1RY), in the heart of the town centre. The event is easily accessible by public transport, with Huddersfield Train Station just a short walk away and several bus stops nearby. Doors open at 6:00pm and the event ends at 9:00pm. Steins and cups will be handed out on entry. Under 18s are welcome with a valid child ticket, though the event is primarily geared towards adult audiences.
