Families in Leeds can enjoy a free Easter activity as Peter Rabbit™ arrives at the Merrion Centre for a day of live storytelling this April. Taking place during the school holidays, the event offers an accessible and engaging experience for children and parents in the heart of the city centre.
On Wednesday 15 April, Peter Rabbit™ will appear at The Green, located on the Merrion Centre’s main mall, for a series of interactive storytime sessions. Accompanied by a live narrator, the well-known character will bring classic tales to life, following his latest escape from Mr McGregor.
The sessions are designed to engage young audiences, encouraging imagination while providing a memorable Easter experience for families.
Each session will last approximately 30 minutes. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, as capacity for each session is limited.
The event forms part of the Merrion Centre’s ongoing programme of free family entertainment, particularly during key school holiday periods. It provides an affordable option for families seeking activities in Leeds city centre.
The initiative reflects a wider commitment to creating inclusive and family-friendly experiences, while supporting the vibrancy of the city centre.
Visitors can combine the storytelling sessions with time spent exploring the Merrion Centre’s range of shops, cafes and restaurants, making it a convenient and enjoyable day out.
Parking is available at CitiPark Merrion Centre, with up to 12 hours for £5 when pre-booked using the code ALLDAYS.
Additional information can be found on the Merrion Centre website. Early arrival is recommended to secure a place at the preferred session time.
