The Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival returns this autumn with an extensive programme featuring prominent writers, journalists, broadcasters, politicians and sporting figures. Taking place from 9 to 19 October 2025, the Festival is sponsored by Raworths Solicitors and is regarded as one of the leading events in the UK literary calendar.

• Nicola Sturgeon – Former First Minister of Scotland, discussing her new memoir Frankly, due for release in August.
• Jeremy Hunt – Conservative MP and former Chancellor of the Exchequer.
• Chris Tarrant – Broadcaster and television personality.
• John Suchet – Author and presenter.
• Helen Lederer – Comedian, actress and author.
• Graham Gooch – England cricketing legend.
• Yasmin Alibhai-Brown – Author and journalist.
• Chris and Jen Sugden – Creators of the audio drama podcast Victoriocity.

Described by Harper’s Bazaar as “One of the UK’s best Literary Festivals” and recognised by The Guardian as “One of the Top 3 Literary Festivals in the UK”, the Raworths Harrogate Literature Festival is celebrated for combining high-profile names with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Set in the North Yorkshire spa town of Harrogate, the Festival showcases both established authors and emerging voices, spanning fiction, non-fiction, politics, history, sport and entertainment.
