The Richmond Walking & Book Festival returns for its 21st year with a nine-day programme celebrating literature, walking and the Yorkshire Dales. The festival combines author talks, guided walks, creative workshops and community events, offering something for readers, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.
The 2026 programme features headline appearances from former President of the UK Supreme Court, Baroness Hale, and Horrible Histories creator Terry Deary, alongside a diverse line-up of authors, speakers and performers.
The programme also includes appearances from Hindpal Singh Bhui, Adam Weymouth, Daniel Stables, Thomas Bell and additional guest speakers covering subjects including crime fiction, politics, travel, poetry, nature writing and personal stories.
Tickets are on sale now. Most events can be booked through TicketSource, while tickets for the Georgian Theatre Royal events featuring Baroness Hale and Terry Deary are available directly from the Georgian Theatre Royal Box Office.
