Event Overview
The Saltaire Arts Trail returns for 2025, running over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 24 to Monday 26 May. This annual event, established in 2006, brings together some of the UK’s finest artists, makers, and designers to the historic spaces of Saltaire and Shipley. Inspired by the area’s rich cultural heritage, the trail attracts thousands of visitors to the World Heritage Village of Saltaire.
Visitor Information
- Open Village and Exhibitions: Free admission
- Saltaire Makers Fair: £3 entry (under 16s and trail guide holders free)
- Trail Guides: Available for purchase at outlets in Saltaire and online in the weeks leading up to the event.
- Accessibility: Victoria Hall offers level access via Lockwood Street. Accessibility for other venues varies; please check the website for details.
- Food and Drink: A pop-up café will operate at Victoria Hall throughout the weekend. Saltaire’s restaurants and coffee shops will also be open.
- Parking: Pay-and-display car parks are available in Saltaire and Shipley.
- Public Transport: Saltaire is accessible via bus and train.

The Saltaire Arts Trail 2024 took place over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend from 4–6 May, attracting thousands of visitors. Highlights included:
- High-quality contemporary artwork showcased in unique spaces across Saltaire and Shipley.
- A new event, MAKE IT Bradford, a pop-up market showcasing local talent, hosted at Shipley College.
- The popular Saltaire Makers Fair, featuring over 70 exhibitors at Victoria Hall.
