Saltaire Arts Trail 2025 – A Celebration of Art and Creativity

Event Overview

The Saltaire Arts Trail returns for 2025, running over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 24 to Monday 26 May. This annual event, established in 2006, brings together some of the UK’s finest artists, makers, and designers to the historic spaces of Saltaire and Shipley. Inspired by the area’s rich cultural heritage, the trail attracts thousands of visitors to the World Heritage Village of Saltaire.

Programme Highlights

• Open Village: Explore high-quality contemporary artwork in homes, businesses, and creative spaces across Saltaire.
• Saltaire Makers Fair: Held at Victoria Hall, this fair features over 65 carefully selected exhibitors showcasing unique art, craft, and design.

  Entry: £3 (under 16s and trail guide holders free)

• Exhibitions: A variety of exhibitions will take place across the weekend, showcasing local and national talent.
• Workshops and Activities: Participate in artist-led workshops and creative activities for all ages.

• Food and Drink: A pop-up café will operate at Victoria Hall throughout the weekend. Saltaire’s restaurants and coffee shops will also be open.

The Saltaire Arts Trail 2024 took place over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend from 4–6 May, attracting thousands of visitors. Highlights included:

• High-quality contemporary artwork showcased in unique spaces across Saltaire and Shipley.
• A new event, MAKE IT Bradford, a pop-up market showcasing local talent, hosted at Shipley College.
• The popular Saltaire Makers Fair, featuring over 70 exhibitors at Victoria Hall.
