The Scapegoat Hill Scarecrow Festival returns for its second year, running from April 18th to April 21st, 2025. This unique event supports the Scapegoat Hill J & I School by raising funds through a village-wide scarecrow trail.

Enjoy a whole host of scarecrows around Scapegoat Hill, Huddersfield! This year’s theme is ‘Children’s Book Characters’, and it promises to be a fun weekend for all the family!
Community members are invited to participate in creating scarecrows, and the festival is an excellent opportunity for residents to showcase their creativity, engage with their community, and support a local educational institution.
It’s free to join, and all are welcome to contribute to making this event a success.
