Selby’s Market Place will sparkle with festive cheer as the Christmas Market & Light Switch-On returns for a full day of seasonal stalls, music and family fun. Expect gifts, crafts and games alongside live performances from local schools and musicians, plus the big countdown as the town lights up for Christmas.

Free entry for all visitors. Food, drink and purchases from stalls are paid for separately. No booking required.

Several town-centre car parks are nearby, though spaces can be limited at peak times, so early arrival is recommended. The event area is level and pedestrian-friendly, with step-free access suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
