The hugely popular Winter Woodland experience returns to Sewerby Hall and Gardens this Christmas, running from Friday 5 December to Tuesday 23 December 2025. Now in its fifth year, the trail is themed around The Snowman’s Ball, promising a dazzling evening of light, sound and festive fun for all the family. With enchanting displays, character encounters and magical scenes throughout the gardens, it’s set to be one of East Yorkshire’s most spectacular festive events.

Why Visit?

This year’s trail invites visitors to help prepare for The Snowman’s Ball, meeting a host of festive characters along the way, including elves, the Woodcutter, the Snow Fairy and the beloved Sewerby Snowman. Guests can stroll through themed zones such as Candy Cane Lane, a giant bauble and a twinkling light tunnel, with new features for 2025 including a whimsical snow globe in the Pleasure Gardens.

The event combines immersive storytelling with festive charm, and with food, drink and seasonal treats available, it’s a perfect Christmas outing for families and friends.

Children under 3 go free with a paying adult. Advance booking is strongly recommended, though limited on-the-day tickets may be available.

Venue: Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Sewerby, Bridlington, YO15 1ED. The site is located on the clifftop just outside Bridlington, accessible via the A165. Parking is available on site. Sewerby Hall offers step-free access to key areas and accessible facilities, with relaxed performances catering for visitors with sensory needs. Allow 45–60 minutes for the trail, with food and drink served until 21:00. The event closes promptly at 20:00 each evening.
