Returning for its 49th year, the Steel City Beer and Cider Festival once again takes over Kelham Island Museum from 15 to 18 October 2025. Organised by the Sheffield & District branch of CAMRA, and staffed entirely by passionate volunteers, the festival is one of the city’s most beloved annual events for beer and cider lovers.
Across four days, visitors can sample from over 300 different drinks – including cask, keg, bottle and can – along with farmhouse ciders and perries. Drinks are served in commemorative glasses, and there’s a wealth of additional fun including live music, traditional pub games, street food, talks, engine demos, and more.
The drinks are dispensed using tokens (available by card or cash at the event), and unspent credit can be refunded or donated to charity. The atmosphere, variety and dedication of the team make this a highlight of Sheffield’s autumn calendar.
Festival glass (£3) required on entry. Refundable or keep as a souvenir. Optional extras include £5 token cards, £1 programme and bookable tastings/talks.
