Todmorden Folk Festival returns for the May Day bank holiday weekend from 2 – 4 May 2025. Nestled in the scenic Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, this popular event celebrates traditional folk music, dance, and culture with events taking place across the town.

Festival Highlights

• Concerts in historic and picturesque venues
• Free outdoor music stage with pop-up food and drink vendors (Oxford Street car park, Sunday 12:00 – 17:30)
• Craft fair at Central Methodist Church (Saturday, 10:00 – 17:00)
• Festival café at Central Methodist Church (Saturday, 10:00 – 17:00)
• Morris dancing across various locations on Saturday and Sunday
• Music and singing sessions throughout the weekend

Family Activities

• Crafts, games and face painting
• Maypole dancing and special guest appearances
• Children’s activities running 10:30 – 15:30 on Saturday at Pollination Street
