The Weeton Show, known as “The Greatest Little Show in Yorkshire,” is scheduled for Sunday, 20th July 2025, at the Weeton Showground. This annual agricultural and horticultural event offers a variety of attractions and competitions suitable for all ages.

Event Highlights

Main Ring Events: Terrier racing, vintage tractors, adult competitive games, children’s races, fancy dress competitions, Rougemont Chase, and grass track cycling.
Equine Classes: Over 30 horse and pony classes, including Working Hunter, Concours d’Elegance, In-Hand Showing, Heavy Horses, Ridden Showing, Community Pony, and Fancy Dress.
Children’s Activities: Punch and Judy shows, children’s races, and various entertainment options.
Live Music: Performances by brass bands such as the Tewit Youth Band and Guiseley Brass Band.
Demonstrations: Farrier demonstrations, gundog displays by Kirkbourne Spaniels, and rural craft demos.
Exhibitions: Vintage tractors, commercial vehicles, military, and stationary engines.
Food and Drink: A variety of food stalls and a licensed bar featuring the exclusive “Weeton Wiggle” ale by Daleside Brewery.

Hog Roast Event

In addition to the main show, a special pre-show Hog Roast event is scheduled for Friday, 18th July 2025, at 7:00 PM. Tickets are £16 for adults and £8 for children under 12, available for pre-purchase until 5:00 PM on 15th July. The event features locally sourced slow-roasted hog with accompaniments, vegetarian options, a licensed bar, and desserts.
