Leeds city centre will be transformed into a magical immersive world this summer as Wonderland Awaits takes over from 26 July to 31 August 2025. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, this unique city-wide trail invites visitors to follow in Alice’s footsteps, discovering iconic characters and surreal installations hidden throughout Leeds. With no set route, the trail can be explored at will, offering a choose-your-own adventure feel – complete with a puzzle challenge, special events, creative workshops, and themed film screenings at Hyde Park Picture House.
The main trail and listed activities are free to attend and open to all, with no booking required. Tickets are required for film screenings at Hyde Park Picture House – adults must be accompanied by a child for entry. Some workshops, such as the LHT Unwrapped: Drama Day (5–7 August), may require advance booking.
