York Vegan Christmas Festival 2026

Vegan Events UK has announced that the York Vegan Christmas Festival will take place on Sunday 13th December 2026. The annual festive event celebrates plant-based living with a full day of vegan food, ethical shopping, talks, demonstrations and family-friendly activities.

Held at York RI Sports Centre, the festival will feature more than 80 vegan exhibitors showcasing festive food and drink, cruelty-free beauty and skincare products, sustainable fashion, ethical gifts, homeware and lifestyle products. Accompanied children under the age of 16 receive free entry, making the event suitable for visitors of all ages.

Over 80 Vegan Stalls and Festive Shopping

Visitors can browse a wide variety of independent businesses offering:

• Freshly prepared plant-based street food
• Vegan cakes, desserts and sweet treats
• Artisan chocolates and confectionery
• Cheeses, pies, sandwiches and salads
• Fresh juices, smoothies and hot drinks
• Cruelty-free beauty and skincare products
• Sustainable fashion and ethical clothing
• Jewellery, candles and handcrafted gifts
• Healthy snacks and free product samples
• Charity merchandise and ethical lifestyle products

Throughout the day there will also be talks, demonstrations and workshops, providing practical advice and inspiration for anyone interested in vegan or plant-based living.

A Celebration of Plant-Based Living

Victoria Bryceson, founder of Vegan Events UK, said:

Over the past decade, Vegan Events UK festivals have welcomed hundreds of traders specialising in ethical and sustainable products, creating marketplaces that support independent businesses, charities and organisations promoting compassionate living.

Featured Charity

One of the featured exhibitors will be Miracle’s Mission, a non-profit animal welfare organisation dedicated to helping sick, injured and disabled animals around the world. The charity provides rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming services, promotes neutering programmes for pets and stray animals, and operates a UK rescue base for dogs with additional needs.

• VIP Tickets: £15, including fast-track entry and a goody bag containing vegan products, samples, discounts and offers, plus a complimentary can of wine for visitors aged 18 and over from festival sponsor Rebel Wine.

Getting to the Festival

York RI Sports Centre is conveniently located next to York railway station and is easily accessible by train and bus. An NCP car park is situated adjacent to the venue, with additional city centre parking and park and ride facilities available nearby.
