Join palaeontologist Fossiliam (Dr Liam Herringshaw) for a fascinating fossil hunt along the Yorkshire Coast at Cayton Bay. This family-friendly event offers an exciting opportunity to search for prehistoric evidence hidden within the Jurassic rocks and Ice Age clays of the bay.

Meeting point: Above the bay on the old Filey Road, at the top of the path leading to The Salty Dog beach café.

Important Information
- Suitable for all ages, but recommended for children aged 6 and over.
- Under-5s can attend for free and do not require a ticket.
- Children aged 6-16 require a ticket and must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Unfortunately, step-free access is not available.
- Participants should wear waterproof shoes with good grip and warm, weatherproof clothing.
- Dogs are not allowed, except for assistance dogs.

- Phone reception in Cayton Bay can be patchy, so late arrivals should notify in advance.
