Ilkley Manor House will once again fly the white rose high as it celebrates Yorkshire Day across a fun-filled summer weekend. Starting on Friday 1 August 2025, the event runs through to Sunday 3 August, with a series of relaxed, family-friendly activities and exhibitions designed to mark the region’s cultural pride and creative talent. Visitors can enjoy the latest display in the upstairs Solar Gallery, join in informal activities, and explore the historic house and courtyard surroundings at their own pace. It’s a warm and welcoming way to celebrate all things Yorkshire.

Entry

Entry to Yorkshire Day 2025 at Ilkley Manor House is free unless otherwise stated. No booking is required – visitors are welcome to drop in throughout the weekend. Please check the website or social media before travelling for any late updates or changes to the programme.

• By Car: Pay-and-display parking is available in Ilkley town centre, with spaces at the nearby train station and throughout the town. Castle Yard is pedestrianised, so please allow time to walk from your parking spot.
• By Public Transport: Ilkley is accessible via direct train from Leeds and Bradford. Ilkley Manor House is a short walk from the station and close to several bus stops serving the local area.

Accessibility

The ground floor and courtyard are accessible, and accessible toilet facilities are available. Please note that the Solar Gallery, located upstairs, is not lift-accessible. Some external areas are cobbled or uneven underfoot. Volunteers will be on hand to assist if needed.
