Photo North Festival returns to Leeds from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th March 2026, taking over the Carriageworks Theatre for its seventh edition. This acclaimed photography festival brings together world-renowned artists, emerging talent and passionate enthusiasts for a weekend of exhibitions, talks, screenings and creative connection. With access to all exhibitions and events included in the ticket price, it offers an inspiring cultural experience in one of the UK’s most vibrant cities.

Photo North Festival #7 promises an immersive and inspiring programme across three days in Leeds, featuring exhibitions from celebrated photographers including Soulla Petrou, Janine Wiedel, Anne Worthington, Joanne Coates, Carolyn Mendelsohn, Mike Abrahams, Seamus Murphy, Simon Hill, David Shaw and Tom Shaw. Visitors can enjoy back-to-back talks, screenings and presentations from artists and industry experts, all designed to spark creativity and encourage meaningful conversation.
With a lively market area offering books, zines and prints, plus opportunities to meet other creatives, the festival is a welcoming hub for anyone with a passion for photography, art or visual storytelling.
General admission is £28 per day or £60 for the full festival. Student tickets are £12 per day or £25 for a full festival pass. Visitors aged 70+ can attend for £25 per day or £50 for the full festival. Tickets include entry to all exhibitions, talks and screenings, with no booking fees.
The festival is held at Carriageworks Theatre, The Electric Press, 3 Millennium Square, Leeds, LS2 3AD. Doors open from 10:00am to 4:30pm on Friday and Saturday, closing at 3:30pm on Sunday. Carriageworks is located in Leeds city centre, a short walk from Leeds Railway Station and well served by local buses.
